Students always crave scholarships. The needy and meritorious students mainly expect to get scholarships so that they can support themselves financially to complete their academics. In all countries, there is provision for scholarships for deserving candidates. A large number of Indians live below the poverty line. So, needy students who are meritorious and ambitious often look for scholarships. But, due to many reasons, sometimes all deserving candidates cannot grab the scholarships. The population of India is one of those reasons. It is often seen that students apply for scholarships in their own institutions. But, all are not granted scholarships. This is a little frustrating because many students depend on financial aid to complete their education. SHDF SCHOLARSHIPS:

This scholarship is provided to students pursuing diplomas, bachelor’s degrees, or any post-graduate degree. The application process begins between June and August.

G.P BIRLA SCHOLARSHIP:

This scholarship program is for undergraduate students. The students must have passed the 12th standard with 80% and have a family income of 3lacs per annum. The student can study in any stream including Arts, Science, Medicine, Engineering, Architecture, Law, Commerce, or professional courses like Company Secretaryship, Cost Accountancy and Chartered Accountancy course from a recognized Indian University/Institution. The student must be a citizen of West Bengal.

  • A scholarship of up to INR 50,000 per annum is to be provided. 7000 rs can also be given for purchasing books.

CLP INDIA SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME:

This is for students pursuing all vocational, graduation, post-graduation courses. The applicant’s family must not own a four-wheeler, Air-condition, or LED TV. You have to produce your income certificate before the authority. The scholarship covers community catchment areas around all CLP India RE Assets locations.

  • Up to 18K can be provided per annum.

ONGC SCHOLARSHIP:

This scheme is for the reserved category students. All SC/ST students pursuing professional courses such as Engineering, Medical, MBA, Geology, and Geophysics are eligible for this scholarship. The student must be a 1st-year student of Graduate Engineering, MBBS Course, Masters in Geology/Geophysics, or MBA. The student can’t avail of other scholarships at the same time.

  • 48K per annum will be provided. 1000 students are offended scholarships every year.

SYMBIOSIS SOCIETY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS:

In India, there is a knack for Nursing courses among girls. The cost of Nursing courses in private colleges is sometimes quite high. So, considering this, we will talk about scholarships for Nursing students.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR B.ED, M.ED STUDENTS:

Students pursuing B.ED or M.ED can also avail themselves of scholarships from Indian organizations. We can now focus on that.

NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME:

B.ED or M.ED students can get scholarships under Indian  NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME. Check the official website to know more about the eligibility criteria.

MCPL SCHOLARSHIP:

This is also for B.ED students. This is for students studying full-time 2-year courses in B.Ed from any institute located in India. The institute must have NAAC accretion. The students need to produce a record of their annual family income.

  • The annual scholarship amount is up to 30K.
